Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. Description of Service

ripperdeck is a free, web-based deck-building tool for a cyberpunk-themed trading card game. The Service allows users to browse cards, build and save decks, and share their creations. The Service is provided free of charge and may change or be discontinued at any time without notice.

3. Accounts

You may create an account by authenticating through a supported third-party provider (Discord, Google, or GitHub). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials with those providers. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the decks and other content you create using the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute your User Content as necessary to operate and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the right to submit any User Content you provide and that your User Content does not violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without our prior written consent
• Submit content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable

6. Intellectual Property

The ripperdeck name, logo, website design, and deck-building software are owned by ripperdeck and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from these elements without our express written permission.

Card designs, card artwork, game mechanics, and other elements of the underlying trading card game are the property of their respective owners and are not claimed as intellectual property of ripperdeck. All such trademarks and copyrights remain with their respective holders.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RIPPERDECK, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ripperdeck and its owners, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) any User Content you submit.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice or liability. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections 7 through 9 of these Terms shall survive any termination.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
